Over the last 6+ years, Leeds born Jake River Parker has been creating multi award winning Commercials, Music Videos, Short Films and much more. His disciplines span across Directing, Writing and Producing.
Under his belt he holds countless awards and accolades. This list includes four Royal Television Awards, two for Lost in Loss which he Wrote and Directed, and two for the comedy short Headless; The Ed Shales Story which he wrote for Director and friend Yousef.
As well as his work in the realm of short films, many of the Music Videos he has produced have gone on to receive much praise and awards across the global stage in several award shows.
Jake regularly collaborates with the same highly respected Directors and Production companies. From Yousef @ Prettybird Pictures to Tommy Davis @ Common People Films, Femi Ladi @ Somesuch as well as more recent collaborations with directors such as Joe Pelling and James Papper @ Blink Ink which has enabled Jake to create works for headlining Artists such as Ezra Collective, Paloma Faith and Greentea Peng.
The genres Jake works across are varied in almost every way; from hard hitting social realism narratives in his Shorts, to bizarre and unconventional comedy in the Music Videos and Commercials he has created.
The truth is, Jake just loves to make films.
